Start by checking out ‘Groundhog Day’ from my fun series of stories for children. This story is engaging for all kids. However, the quiz and worksheets are primarily for ages 6-12.

Daily Routine Verbs: wake up, get up, eat breakfast, wash your face, brush your teeth

Concepts: Groundhog Day, Hibernation and the end of winter

Verb Tense

The story is told in the past simple and flashcards are provided for all the main verbs. For example, some verbs in the story are: laughed, sang, came, shouted, threw, made, ate, washed, brushed, asked, went, looked, thought, saw, was, cried, ran.
